At Rodriguez Studios, we are passionate and committed to providing the best design experience for our communities across the great State of New Mexico. Founded in 2024, our collaborative Architecture Studio establishes from over a decade of experience in providing intuitive and contemporary Residential and Commercial design services. Starting off in this profession at 15 years old, Rodriguez aims to abstract and elevate local Architecture styles from Contemporary Pueblo and Modern Northern New Mexico (Farmhouse) to even newer styles such as "Modern Hacienda", we strive to headway styles critically inspired by our region and deep history. "Everything we do is custom to you, people are products of their environment. We understand how to help you define that".

Our workflow is entirely unique. We do not charge for consultation nor do we accept a deposit to begin! We have two milestones.

PHASE 1
PRELIMINARY DESIGN
*Deposits not required
at this stage!
Meet with our designers to discuss and begin a project. We provide you a preliminary plan, with geo-located overlay, and based on your wish-list! A physical and digital plan may be provided for revisions - and revisions can be done same-day in person!
PHASE 2
3D and ELEVATION DESIGN
*50% of project invoice due
Once you have approved your plan, we then begin the design of the exterior and façade. This stage is when we take your plan into 3D! We provide you with 360° aerial coverage of the design, on a scan of your lot, to review digitally. At this stage, you are more than welcome to revise and refine, or even completely change the style prior to order the full plans!
PHASE 3
TECHNICAL DESIGN
*Remaining invoice balance due
After refining your 3D and Elevation design, we then begin the Technical Phase upon approval. This stage produces the working plans needed to begin the permitting process.
NOTE: Most municipalities in the State of New Mexico require Structural Engineering and Truss engineering at minimum, these items are integral to our plan-sets.
*We provide optional in-house permitting, architectural visualization, and structural engineering services.

We are thrilled to offer our clients a robust experience when designing their dream home! Our unique approach employs cutting edge BIM and 3D technology into our design process to ensure every client can visualize the design of their home before committing, and paying, for plans. We understand that revisions and refinements are a natural part of the process, it is a custom home! This is why we never surprise our clients with endless fees for engineering, plan-set/technical adjustment, permit corrections, or even downsizing the project for better affordability. We only charge a fee for revisions when the structure's footprint and layout are significantly modified or increased, or, the style of the home is changed after plans have been produced.
